I am not a Black woman, and yet I feel this so deeply. I cannot imagine how much more compounded it must be for Black women. It's so ridiculous that your boss can criticize you for not working. The number of Slack channels that had nothing to do with work felt crazy to me and I didn't participate in them, and I got negative feedback on that. It bewilders me. If you spend time doing that, you won't get your work done... If I'm ever in the boss position, I will be especially cognizant of this any of my colleagues of color, particularly Black, who are too often limited by the need to fight stereotypes.
